A short walk or bike ride from the house is a nesting pair of Bald Eagles. The first time we saw the Eagle, he or she was actually in a bird bath in someone's yard, and we thought it was a fake bird! At the end our road, there is a small beach where my wife and I have made a ritual of watching the sun set. This shot was taken at sunset looking to the south east. The orange glowing round object appears to be the sun, however, it is actually one of the high rises on Fort Myers Beach. Thankfully, you will not find any high rises on Pine Island!
